Crime report for Ashfield South week to 7 December 2017

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

 Burglary Dwelling.

 At 6.40pm on Friday 1 December in Portland Road, Selston 3 males claiming to be looking for a gas leak entered a property but nothing was stolen.

We recently put out warnings regarding incidents like this so we ask you to be extra vigilant with uninvited persons trying to gain access to your property especially where elderly and vulnerable people are being so approached. If you have any suspicions please call the police immediately.

 At about 6.40pm on Monday 4 December in Owston Road, Annesley a house was broken into via a patio door. A quantity of jewellery was stolen.

Burglary Other
Between 6pm and 10.50pm on Saturday 2 December in Annesley Road, Hucknall a shed was broken into and a bright orange VTwin mountain bike and black VTwin Rockrider mountain bike were stolen.

Between 6pm on Thursday 30 November and 9.20am 1 December in Linby Avenue, Hucknall an attempt was made to enter a shed.

Between 11.30pm on Thursday 30 November and 6.30am Friday 1 December in Lime Tree Road, Hucknall some old clothes were stolen from an insecure garage.

Sometime between the 27 and 30 November in Arthur Green Avenue, Kirkby Woodhouse a shed was broken into and a petrol lawnmower was stolen.

Theft of a Vehicle.
At 8.03pm on Sunday 3 December in Laughton Crescent, Hucknall a red Suzuki Bandit motorbike was stolen and later recovered.

 Between 10.30pm on Saturday 2 and 3am Sunday 3 December in Main Road, Jacksdale a black Lexmoto Arrow motorbike was stolen from the roadside.

 Theft from a Vehicle.
Between 5.30pm on Thursday 30 November and 7am Friday 1 December in Linby Avenue, Hucknall both number plates were stolen from a grey Vauxhall Astra.

Between 8am and 7.30pm on Friday 1 December at the Hucknall tram stop car park both number plates were stolen from a blue Mazda Capella.

Between 5.30pm on Friday 1 and 8am Saturday 2 December in Millbank Place, Bestwood Village a black Seat Ibiza was entered and some bank cards stolen from a bag.

Overnight of the 1 and 2 December in Millbank Place, Bestwood Village a black Jeep was broken into and a torch was stolen.

Between 10pm on Friday 1 and 1pm Saturday 2 December in Cavendish Crescent, Annesley Woodhouse a mobility scooter was stolen from the boot of a Hyundai Tucson.

Between 11pm on Saturday 2 and 8.50am Sunday 3 December in Stewart Way, Annesley a white Skoda Superb was entered and some cigarette lighters, phone chargers, a packet of car fuses and some sun glasses were stolen.

Between 10am on Saturday 2 and 8.50am Sunday 3 December in Stewart Way, Annesley a silver Peugeot 208 parked on a driveway was entered and a gym bag and trainers and a first aid kit were stolen.

Between 9.30pm on Saturday 2 and 10.20am Sunday 3 December in Pella Grove, Annesley a black Volvo V4 was broken into and a HP Notebook Laptop and some sun glasses were stolen.

Sometime on Wednesday 6 December in York Street car park, Hucknall the front number plate on a black Vauxhall Vectra was stolen.
