Nuthall East –

 

Burglary Dwelling – 3

 

Croxley Gardens 09/02/2018 –

 

Unknown suspect forced rear kitchen window with implement. Entry gained and an untidy search conducted. Suspects had stolen jewellery and the victim’s purse containing their bank card. Suspects used the victim’s pillow case to carry away items. The point of exit was the rear kitchen door where the keys were left in the lock. This incident happened sometime between 1300 and 1500 hours.

 

Whetstone Close 11/02/2018 –

 

Unknown suspects entered the property and they removed several panels from the shed located in the rear garden. The panels had been located on the other side of the garden wall in the Broxtowe Country Park. The suspects removed the bottom panel of the wooden garage door using a sharp tool. The garage had integral access to the house. Nothing was removed and stolen.

 

Gunnersbury Way 12/02/2018 –

 

Unknown suspects had broken into an address by smashing the side door and an untidy search of the address was conducted. The caller reported at 1430 hours that three males with masks on and hoods worn up had gone into the property. The caller saw them get out of a dark green car which was left parked outside of the address. The vehicle was seized by officers. The suspects escaped through a neighbour’s rear garden onto the Broxtowe Country Park.

Burnt Oak Close 12/02/2018 –

 

Caller reported at 1320 hours that three males were on the park and they appeared to be looking over at the caller address. First male, white male a wearing a grey track suit with a hooded top and black trainers. Second male, white male with short cropped brown hair, grey hooded top and blue jeans, white trainers. Third male, black male, short pony tail, beard and moustache, wearing a black puffer jacket, grey joggers and white trainers. The males were aged around twenty three years. An officer stop checked one of the males who was local and all was in order.

 

Colindale Gardens 12/02/2018 –

 

Caller reported at 1950 hours that five youths with their hoods up had just walked down the street looking into vehicles, they saw the caller looking out of the window and sped up but they still continued to hang around. The males were all aged around fifteen years and wore dark clothing and they were on foot. The youths were going either side of the cars, with two on the pavement and the others walking down the middle of the road, the caller didn’t see them touch any car doors but they were looking into the windows. The group went up towards the alley way join Mornington Crescent. An officer attended to the area after nine minutes and conducted a negative area search for the group.

 

Osterley Grove 10/02/2018 –

 

Caller reported at 2000 hours seeing a silver car parked on the street with two persons in the front. The car had been there for at least ten minutes and the caller thought it was suspicious as the occupants were sat with the engine off and windows down. There were no descriptions available for the occupants and an officer attended to the area and the vehicle had moved on from the area.

 

Kew Gardens 14/02/2018 –

 

Caller reported at 0200 hours that persons were seen with flashlight coming through the Broxtowe Country Park close to the footpath. The person seen was around 5ft 10 tall wearing dark clothing and a hooded top and appeared to be a male. Officers attended to the area after eight minutes and conducted a negative area search.

 

Redbridge Drive 14/02/2018 –

 

Caller reported at 0730 hours seeing a white male wearing a camouflage puffer jacket, cap, carrying a backpack and a black box possibly a computer. The male saw caller and ran away. The male was seen walking through the park area.

 

Theft From Motor Vehicle – 2

 

Gunnersbury Way 14/02/2018 –

 

Caller reported that their blue vehicle had been broken into overnight. This happened sometime between 0000 and 0730 hours. There were no broken windows and it was possibly left unlocked as the driver door was not shut properly and the glove box had been gone through. House keys may have been taken.

 

Millennium Way West 13/02/2018 –

 

Caller reported at 2300 hours that two vans had been broken into and that the offenders had left in a dark coloured car. Three white males all in dark clothing and this was witnessed by a guest at the hotel. The hotel guest disturbed the offenders by shouting out towards them and they made off.

Suspicious Incident – 2

 

New Farm Lane 06/02/2018 –

 

Caller reported at 0055 hours that three persons had just been disturbed trying to break into a storage facility, they made off on foot towards Albert Avenue along the footpath to the rear of the premises. All three were wearing black hooded tops and earlier on in the evening three males were on site on motorcycles which may have been connected. An officer attended to the area after fifteen minutes and conducted a negative area search for the males and there was no damage caused.

 

Oak Drive 08/02/2018 –

 

Caller reported at 0005 hours that two males knocked on the callers doors dressed all in black and they tried the front door. The caller stated that the males rang the doorbell and tried the door handle. An officer attended to the area after ten minutes and conducted a negative area search for the two males.  

 

Strelley Village –

 

Criminal Damage – 1

 

Main Street 04/02/2018 –

 

Caller reported that they went to take to their dog for a walk in Strelley woods at 1430 hours and parked initially near to the Strelley Hall entrance but after a confrontation with horse rider they moved it to the car park of the public house on Main Street. Sometime between 1430 hours and 1545 hours someone had scratched the front passenger side, pushed the wing mirrors in and muddied the side of the callers red car. The suspected that it was the horse rider who had done this. There was a confrontation where the male horse rider said that the caller went 100 mph past his horse and spooked it. The caller denied doing this and the male then went off on the horse towards Swingate and came back on a black and turquoise quad motorbike with a roof and parked right up to the bumper of the caller’s car.

The male then said the caller was to choose between their face or their car and the caller said what was wrong with him was he stupid. The male shouted obscenities to the caller and kept saying their car would be smashed up and he then turned around and went to the back of the car still shouting. The male then shouted watch your car and said that he would find it. White male aged around 30 years, had very dark hair, possible moustache. The couldn’t tell the height as he was always sat down, the male had initially a dark jacket on but when he came back on the quad he was in a mustard yellow polo shirt.
