Crimes reported over the past seven days.
Burglary Dwelling
Between 4.30pm on Thursday 27 September and 2.15am on Saturday 29 September in Larch Close, Hucknall, a house was entered via a kitchen window and a 55” Curve TV, Xbox and 28 Xbox One games were stolen.
At around 6.05pm on Monday 1 October in Chatsworth Drive, Hucknall, the owner of a property answered the door and a man accompanied by a woman forced their way in. The owner was then assaulted and forced to hand over a wallet containing cash.
Burglary Other
Between Friday 14 and Thursday 27 September in Lime Tree Road, Hucknall, a shed was broken into. Nothing was stolen.
Between 11.00pm on Wednesday 26 September and 8.00pm on Thursday 27 September in Padgett Close, Hucknall, a caravan battery, awning and a 32” TV were stolen from a Avondale Wenlock caravan.
Between 10.00pm on Thursday 27 September and 6.30am on Friday 28 September in Farleys Lane, Hucknall, a garage was entered by forcing a door. A Hybrid mountain bike and a second mountain bike, gunmetal black in colour, Dyson vacuum cleaner, jet washer and children’s toys were stolen.
Between 6.00am and 8.00am on Wednesday 3 October in Upper Mexborough Road, Selston, a spade and an ornamental owl was stolen from a garden.
Warning to Caravan owners.
Over the past two weeks we have had a number of thefts of batteries from caravans parked outside properties. Please make sure your battery storage boxes are well secured. If you are mothballing your caravan for the winter we would advise you remove any batteries and other valuable items.
Theft of motor vehicle
None reported.
Theft from motor vehicle
Around 11.30pm on Saturday 29 September in Salterford Road, Hucknall, an ID card and entry pass were stolen from an unlocked Honda Civic car.
Theft
Between 7.30am and 5.30pm on Thursday 27 September in the High Street, Hucknall, a black mountain bike chained to the bike racks outside the Library was stolen.
Criminal Damage
Between 12.30am and 7.00am on Thursday 27 September in Royce Avenue, Westville, Hucknall, an object was thrown at a patio door smashing the glass.
Around 9.15pm on Friday 28 September in Carlingford Road, Hucknall, damage was caused to a Citroen C1 car, parked at the roadside, by kicking a side panel and wing mirror.
Between 9.30pm on Saturday 29 September and 7.15am on Sunday30 September in Mapplewells, Kirkby Woodhouse, windscreen wipers were removed from a black Jeep and a grey Porsche parked at the address.
Between 8.30pm on Tuesday 2 October and 7.30am on Wednesday 3 October in Victoria Road, Selston, the badge on the front of a silver Mercedes car and the passenger side wing mirror were vandalised.
Overnight Tuesday 2 to Wednesday 3 October in Victoria Road, Selston, garden ornaments and lights were vandalised.
